-**Finish the designs for Joseph Kurzweilde, Cactus Jackson, Royal Wickham, and the lizard guy to meet my and Anthony's mutual deadline for Tall Tales of Long Mesa**
-With the newly acquired script on Wednesday, start work on an actual issue of TToLM

Things I Plan To Do Eventually But Preferably Sooner Rather Than Later

-Make a freeware 2D action platformer entitled Super Dracula Man X2 Alpha Turbo, an amalgam of Castlevania and Mega Man (the idea came to me listening to virt's song of the same name)
-**Finish one issue and pitch Tall Tales of Long Mesa to Image Comics; if the pitch isn't accepted, look for other publishers or self-publish**
-Get Cloth Armor, a gamer-oriented clothing site, off the ground as a means of supplemental income
-**Learn Photoshop, Painter, and Illustrator completely**

Things I Plan To Do At Some Point In The Relatively Near Future But Not That Soon

-Propose to and marry Stephanie in a small ceremony (maybe even elope)

I have a lot of big plans, looks like. Have to start focusing and get some of them at least started, if not finished. I guess that's why I pulled this all-nighter.

I did a new layout/color scheme for my journal. This should (hopefully) motivate me to update more (but not right now).

Being unemployed has given me time to think about what I'd like to be doing. I've decided to seriously look into starting my own t-shirt site for gamers/nerds. I've been talking to printers today and it looks financially feasible so long as I pick my materials carefully and cost-effectively.

What I'm aiming for are designs that are nice to look at, clever where necessary, and good enough to buy.

You should see some designs up here in the next week or so. Assuming you'd be able to buy them for between and $10 and $15, tell me which you would actually buy if circumstances made it possible.

Additionally, I'd like a recognizable name for the site, preferably something game-related but not necessarily. Please help me out in this regard.

A delayed fulfillment of something I swore I'd do in 1999.

The financial aid office gave me three options:

1. Go part-time and lose my housing privileges

2. Use my aid to cover housing and pay for tuition over a four-month payment plan (about $2500 a month)

3. Get a private loan with a cosigner

Guess how many of those options are feasible?

My mom got a call from my aunt, the one I asked to cosign on the loan originally, and she basically said that she and my uncle were reconsidering and they wanted to do something. I'm supposed to get a call, but I haven't yet. Maybe they'll sign.

Yeah, good thing I stayed home this weekend. My parents aren't eligible to cosign on my student loans.

I leave in three days.

I asked my wealthy/good credit-y relatives if they'd do it, and they said no. So, this is a problem.

I'm going on Tuesday no matter what. There just might be some pre-moving in issues. I have yet to hear from the Financial Aid office despite three messages left and five calls made.

Six days until the move.

There's a lot of financial aid work I still have to do (or, I'm doing right now) and packing and other sorts of prep--because of this I decided that there's no way I can sacrifice the four days necessary for MAGfest. It sucks a whole lot, because there's so many people I wanted to see/meet/reunite with, but I couldn't with priorities in mind waste four days out of six I have left.

Next year.

Steff's family is converting the downstairs bedroom into My Room, apparently--I have an open invitation to stay at the house whenever possible/necessary. It makes me feel good, because it makes me feel like the family likes me, and likes me around (an especially important factor).

Stressed! Excited!
